Richard Lang has been a UAP (United Arial Phenomena) Researcher and investigator since the early 1990's. He served as STAR Team Manager and SIP Project Coordinator from the beginning of the project in February 2009 until it ended in January 2010, which at that time was the most advanced non-government rapid response UAP investigative team in the world. In 2008 Mr. Lang was featured in the Discovery Channel TV series "UFOs Over Earth" serving as one of the lead investigators in the shows filmed in Fayetteville, North Carolina and Bucks County, Pennsylvania. In 2001 Mr. Lang was a reserve law enforcement officer in Virginia. During that time of National Crisis (post 911) he went to work for the United States Department of Homeland Security employed with TSA working in security at the airports in Virginia. He is a member of the Anti-Terrorist Advisory Council Board (organized by the U.S. Attourney's Office) and frequently serves as a key speaker on terrorism at quarterly regional meetings.
